Ten Project strengthens partnership with Bright Ideas for Tennis

Ten Project is delighted to announce that they will once again be working with the tennis charity Bright Ideas For Tennis, opening up and creating inclusive opportunities, in particular, at SEN schools through their School and Community Initiative.

The joint initiative will see approximately twenty SEN schools taking part in the project in Bracknell, Eastbourne, Tonbridge, Grayshott, and Oxford.

Ten Project encourages families to be part of their ten week school initiative; from children taking part in curriculum time school sessions, to families then coming to their local community tennis courts at the weekend where they are invited to be part of FREE family sessions.

Ten Project’s CEO & Founder, Harry Lloyd said, “Ten Project’s family focused initiative really does marry up well with the wonderful work Bright Ideas for Tennis does. Our belief is that family plays a huge role in a child’s life. The great work charities like Bright Ideas For Tennis do are allowing us to make sure our initiative is experienced by everyone, regardless of ability. I’m so pleased to be partnering with them once again as we look to create fully inclusive opportunities for children and their families, so they can learn and play together in their local community”,

Former British professional tennis player and Managing Director at Bright Ideas For Tennis, Danny Sapsford commented, “Teaming up once again with Ten Project means we can focus on giving more families in local communities the chance to play tennis together, regardless of their age or ability. The partnership strengthens our ability to create more inclusive environments and accessible opportunities to encourage participation and activity to benefit both physical health and mental wellbeing.”

Ten Project is set to once again be in more primary schools and community tennis courts than ever before in 2022 and looks forward to building on the great success they have already achieved.
